Experiential Learning Visit to Echo Asia...
Master’s and Ph.D. students from the Organic Agriculture Management and Innovative Agricultural Products Program, International College, Maejo University, recently participated in an enriching academic field visit to the EcoAsia Impact Center.
The study tour was led by Dr. Prakash Murgeppa Bhuyar, Assistant Dean of the International College, together with the dedicated staff of the International College. This visit aimed to strengthen students’ practical understanding beyond classroom learning through real-world exposure and hands-on observation.
During the visit, students gained valuable insights into:
1. Biochar production unit and its sustainable applications
2. Sand filtration system for water management
3. Poultry and livestock feeding systems
4. Seed bank and advanced seed storage system
The tour was generously guided by Mr. Shaun and the Head of the Center, Mr. Patrick, who shared their expertise, practical experiences, and innovative approaches in sustainable agriculture and environmental management.
This academic visit provided our students with meaningful knowledge exchange, bridging theory with practice. At International College, we believe learning is not limited to lectures true education comes from seeing, engaging, and doing.
We sincerely thank the EcoAsia Impact Center team for their warm hospitality and knowledge sharing.
