Associate Professor Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee, Dean of the International College, Dr. Winitra Leelapattana, Associate Dean of the International College, Dr. Suthira Sitthikun, Assistant Dean, Mr. Warunsiri Sujinda, Director of the International College, along with faculty members and staff, participated in the Annual Staff Sports Competition and Fun Sports Event. The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University. This event is designed to promote physical exercise, improve health and strength, and foster unity among staff members, which is considered an important driving force for work productivity and the development of the university towards its goals. The event was held at the Chalerm Phra Kiat Sports Center, Maejo University.

🥗In the afternoon, Dr. Kanchana Sammit came to give a lecture on Thai herbs and Thai food under the topic of Nature-Based Gastronomy Tourism: A Focus on Thai 4 Elements and Food to ISDSI students at the International Education and Training Center. They also joined in making Thai food and Thai herbal drinks together with students from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, English Department, Maejo University with Dr. Nithat Boonpaisarnsatit joining in to share his knowledge.

On January 21, 2025, ISDSI students participated in activities and visited the Office of Agricultural Research and Extension at Maejo University. They engaged in practical exercises related to organic farming, including composting processes, and visited the Organic Chicken 🐥& Organic Pig farming🐷 presented by Mr.Somboon Radom.

🌿In the afternoon, they participated in activities related to Northern Thai culture (Lanna) at the Arts and Culture Promotion Division.

- 🥁Traditional Thai instruments and Lanna Thai music were introduced by Mr. Wutthiphat Ketpatthanapol.

- Thai dance, Fon lep (fingernail dance): A northern Thai dance style, and Traditional Thai clothing were demonstrated by Miss Weenapat Pongpa.

- 💐The art of making flowers from pandan leaves was taught by Miss Sriwan Bunrueng.

The opening ceremony of the "Agriculture Sustainability and Culture Exchange Program" (7th edition) was held at the Maejo University International Education and Training Center in Chiang Mai.
🌐The opening ceremony began with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee, Dean of the International College, welcoming the students of the program, followed by a welcoming remark from Associate Professor Dr. Mark Andrew Ritchie, Director of ISDSI, Chiang Mai, Thailand. The ceremony was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University, who honored the occasion with his presence.
🚌The first day's activities began with an experience of Maejo University's atmosphere. The campus tour, showcasing the newest ventures at Maejo University, was led by Dr. Kittiya Thongkum.
🌿In the afternoon, at the Hemp Research and Development Center (HRDC), participants were introduced to various aspects of hemp research, including:
- Ecosystems supporting industrial hemp
- The development and improvement of hemp seed varieties for industrial use
- Integration of research and innovation in hemp plants through academic services, presented by Dr. Nithat Boonpaisarnsatit.
