The closing ceremony program on "Agro-Tourism Trail and Cultural Exchange Program"

On May 8, 2024, Dean of the International College of Maejo University, Associate Professor Dr.Rapeephun Dangtungee  presided as the chairman of the closing ceremony program on "Agro-Tourism Trail and Cultural Exchange Program" held at International Education and Training Center, Maejo University. The program started since January 17th 2024, consisting of 24 students from the United State of America, under the signed MOU between Maejo University and International Sustainable Development Studies Institute. Present at the closing ceremony program was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mark Andrew Ritchie (Director ISDSI), including lecturers and Staff from MJU-IC and ISDSI respectively.

Dr. Winitra Leelapattana, Associate Dean,Dr. Suthira Sitthikun, Associate Dean of the International College, and Asst. Prof. (Acting Sub Lieutenant) Dr. Jirachai Yomkerd, participated in signing the book of well-wishes in honor of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana’s birthday anniversary on June 3, 2025.
The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr.Weerapon Thongma,the President of Maejo University, who led the offering of floral tributes and incense candles in front of Her Majesty’s portrait and delivered a message of felicitations. He was joined by university executives, faculty members, staff, students of Maejo University, the Maejo Alumni Association, and various government agencies in signing the book of well-wishes on the occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday anniversary, as a demonstration of loyalty and gratitude to the monarchy.
The event was held at the Chalermphrakiat Sports Center, Maejo University.

On May 28, 2025, the International College, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Danaikrit Inthurit, Dr. Krittiya Thongkhum, and Asst. Prof. (Acting Sub Lieutenant) Dr. Jirachai Yomkerd, organized a project to promote organic farming among farmers and enhance market opportunities for organic products. The event took place at Nong Yaeng Subdistrict Municipality, Chiang Mai Province. Activities included entrepreneurs meeting with farmers and training sessions to promote farmers' understanding of the principles and processes of organic farming, as well as recognized certification systems. This aims to increase access to both domestic and international organic product markets.

On May 27, 2025, the International College, represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. DanaiKrit Inthurit, Dr. Krittiya Thongkoom and Asst. Prof. Sub. Lt. Dr. Jirachai Yomkerd, organized and conducted the first session of the "Promoting Organic Farming and Increasing Market Opportunities for Organic Products" project. This event took place at Pa Pao Community, Ban Thi Subdistrict, Ban Thi District, Lamphun Province.
The project featured activities such as entrepreneur-farmer meetings and training sessions. These sessions aimed to educate farmers on the principles and processes of organic farming, as well as recognized certification standards. The goal is to enhance their access to both domestic and international markets for organic products.

On May 23, 2025,
the President of Maejo University and Dr. Winitra Leelapattana, Associate Dean of the International College, visited National Chin-Yi University of Technology (NCUT) to strengthen academic collaboration.
The visit included: A meeting with the President and administrators, Lab tours at the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science and campus tour.
This visit marks an important step in expanding international cooperation and future joint academic initiatives.
