To comply with the Four-Mission Development and Proactive Development Plans in 3 channels, Maejo University focuses on the 2nd strategy to develop the University towards internationalization by setting up "International College." Its primary mission is to be a driving organization to make such a target fulfilled clearly under Maejo University Act 2019. Therefore, to make such a mission possible and progress efficiently and effectively as aimed, Maejo University International College: MJU-IC was founded on November 25, 2017, by Maejo University Council, and then announced in the Government Gazette, Book136, Special Section 157, on June 20, 2019, with the following functions:

  1. To manage interdisciplinary programs using a foreign language as a medium of instruction, human resources, bodies of knowledge, and academic cooperation from different disciplines. It also conducts research studies, provides academic services, and nourishes culture at the international level.
  2. To support and promote internationalization for the University and internal organizations and to be a center for managing international affairs of the University.
  3. To promote the international atmosphere in the University and to promote the language competency of the students and staff to international standards.

  1. To educate graduate students to have knowledge and skills in agriculture at the international level
  2. To correspond with the country's development policy and Maejo University’s development strategy in expanding both domestic and international education opportunities
  3. To conduct research studies on agriculture and related areas in conjunction with international cooperation networks
  4. To provide academic services and seek academic cooperation in the management of international training courses in conjunction with other public and private educational institutions and organizations. It also aims to enhance knowledge and innovation to develop agriculture sustainably, and to disseminate King Rama IX's sufficiency economy philosophy to make local communities and societies prosperous explicitly and accepted worldwide via practical research studies and academic services.
  5. To support and manage the international program, research studies and academic services to strive for internationalization with local and international cooperation networks in the manner of One-Stop Service Center
