The trip was organized and led by Associate Professor Dr. Rapeephun Dangtungee, Dean of the International College, and Mr. Warunsiri Sujinda, Director of the International College, together with faculty members Asst. Prof. Dr. Danaikrit Inthurit, Dr. Watcharanan Thongma, Dr. Prakash Murgeppa Bhuyar Dr. Krittiya Tongkoo, and Ajarn Roger R. Hale. Staff of the International College also participated.
Day 1 (February 2, 2026)
• The activities began with academic site visits to the Mae Wang Onion Cooperative and the onion cultivation fields, followed by a visit to the Mae Wang Dairy Cooperative.
• Next, students participated in bamboo rafting on the Mae Wang River, an activity that encouraged teamwork, and close interaction with nature.
• In the evening, students joined a cooking workshop and recreational activities in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Day 2 (February 3, 2026)
• Students studied community-based economic development and agriculture by visiting the Royal Agricultural Research Center, Khun Wang, located within Doi Inthanon National Park. They enjoyed agro-tourism activities while admiring the beauty of highland fruit orchards in full bloom, including pears, plums, peaches, nectarines, and strawberries. Students were guided by staff along designated learning routes and explored agricultural experimental plots within the center. Key learning areas included highland fruit orchards, coffee plantations, a coffee hulling facility, and a macadamia testing plot. In addition, students experienced the breathtaking beauty of Himalayan cherry blossoms (Thai Sakura) in full bloom, with vibrant pink flowers across the area. The Royal Agricultural Research experience left a lasting impression on all participants. This field trip provided valuable knowledge, practical experience, life skills, and strengthened positive relationships between students and faculty members.
